The Pivot Stool was intended to memorise the carriage and attitude of the person sitting on it.
 This concept is achieved through Japanese heritage crafts; Kioke Zukuri (Wooden Bucket) and woodturning.

It features a seat that shifts and stabilises its angle and position smoothly, depending on whether relaxing or concentrating, unlike the restrictions of a "correct" sitting position found in applied ergonomics.

It brings a space full of character by composing varied angles of poufs, unlike well-ordered beauty.

Pivot Stoolは、座る人の所作や姿勢が 座面の角度にそのまま記憶として残るスツール。

日本の木桶づくり技術と旋盤木工技術を応用し
シンプルな構造に仕上げています。  エルゴノミクスを応用しながらも、 あえて正しい姿勢に矯正するのではなく、 寛いだり、集中したり状況に応じて 座面の角度を心地良く変えることができます。  整然と並ぶ美しさではなく、 それぞれの角度が異なることで 個性豊かな空間が生まれます。

弊社 @knowledge_base_design がデザインを担当しました。

マテリアルの質感をダイレクトに感じてクリエイティビティを擽るプロダクト。
LINO dustpanは、オランダのForbo社 @forboforfurniture
ファニチャーリノリウムを表面素材としてではなく、
あえてそのまま活用し、ありふれた道具に転化させたプロダクト。

自分で組み立てることで、リノリウムの持つ柔らかくて優しく、温かみのある質感をより感じ取ることができます。

少し違った使い方でリノリウムの可能性を広げ、クリエイティビティに携わる人達を刺激します。
